Kuckunniwi Siberian Husky Kennel settles in Folldal Norway.
January 06 2012:
The local river is now frozen so we can now cross this and access some of the Femend trail with our 12 dogs and sled.
January 08 2012:
We are now able to train the dogs more thoroughly and starting to increase the distance accordingly.
January 10 2012:
The dogs have acclimatised very well to the Norwegian winter and are enjoying running continually on snow.
January 12 2012:
We are now running from Folldal to Dalholen and back and the dogs so far are turning and running as expected.
January 16 2012:
We are now running between Folldal and Grimsbu and back travelling across the frozen river on a couple of occasions.

We are now running between Folldal and Grimsbu and Dalholen and back travelling across the frozen river on a couple of occasions. The dogs are running very well.
Over the last 36 months we have entered various Sled Dog Rallies in the Scottish Geographical area of the country.
To date we have done extremely well with our five boys and two girls and have moved up from a single dog (scooter) to a 6 dog team race.
Below are the results for this years (2008/2009) sled dog rallies we have attended thus far.

Alba has worked fantastically in several rallies so far starting from the scooter class and now the 6 dog team class.

Ishka (Sugar Eyes)
Ishka has done remarkably well in various training sessions and rally sessions. She is extremely fast but does not like going down hill up front too much. As of this she is back in left wheel position where she is strong and remarkably hard working as part of a strong pulling team.
